Step into an unforgettable journey: the 6-Day Sundarbans and Bagerhat Wildlife and Heritage Tour from Dhaka fuses Bangladesh’s wild mangrove landscapes and its centuries-old Islamic legacy. You depart Dhaka on a scenic overnight train, then enter the vast Sundarbans — the largest mangrove forest in the world — via Khulna. On this Sundarbans tour from Dhaka, you’ll glide along tidal rivers, spot dolphins playing in the water, observe herds of spotted deer, and, with luck, glimpse the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Over three full days, your guided exploration includes the Herbaria Mangrove Trail, Katka Watch Tower, Kachikhali forest, and the conservation hub Karamjal Wildlife Centre.
Then your route turns toward heritage — the tour continues to Bagerhat, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for 15th-century mosques and Islamic monuments. You’ll marvel at the Sixty Dome Mosque, visit the Tomb of Khan Jahan Ali, and explore lesser-known mosques and architectural gems. With Hcmak, all logistics — train, boat, car, guide — are handled so you can focus on the experience. Whether you're drawn to wildlife photography, birdwatching, historical tours, or eco-adventures, this private tour, Khulna Sundarbans tour package, Sundarbans eco tour, and Bagerhat heritage tour blend seamlessly.
Tour Highlights:
This 6-Day Sundarbans and Bagerhat Wildlife and Heritage Tour from Dhaka offers something for everyone. You’ll climb the Katka Watch Tower, stroll Katka Beach, and trek Kachikhali forest to encounter diverse birdlife and mangrove flora. The Karamjal Wildlife Centre reveals crocodile breeding and ecological conservation up close. Each night aboard the boat, enjoy authentic Bangladeshi meals while drifting through mangrove channels. In Bagerhat, your Bagerhat mosque tour covers the Sixty Dome Mosque, Nine Dome Mosque, and the Tomb of Khan Jahan Ali. A trip of a lifetime.
Staying entrenched in the Mangroves with easy access from our boat to the channels and islands of the Subdarbans. We had many excursions on our flat bottom canoe -all of them brilliant..

Sundarbans Tour, great trip
Great experience to go through the larges mangrove forest by boat and stay overnight on the vessel on the rivers. Even though accommodation and facilities are very basic on board I really liked the trip. Mam Holidays was very helpful to arrange a day-time journey back to Dhaka. My guide, Mizan gave me a lot of valuable information during our stay in the Sundarbans.

5 day Sundarbans Tour
This was a magnificent tour, all that we wsihed for and more, although the tigers did not come to see us. From the moment we were met on the steamer in Dhaka to the end of the tour we were looked after in a friendly, professional way. The driver was good and managed traffic well. In Khulna we wandered round local shops with no hassle, feeling very safe. The smaller boat that took us round Sundarbans was great, a lovely atmosphere created by the captain who was excited when he showed us dolphins and a crocodile. The guides were knowledgable and knew where to find birds, deer and a tiger paw print. The boat staff kept the boat well, very clean, lovely food and staff were always aware of our needs. I would recommend this tour and Bangladesh as a fascinating, safe country to visit..
